 Return and Exchange

Hydromotive Engineering Company understands the problems encountered when the retail customer wants to try another propeller design. Our prop recommendations are based upon customer input. Hydromotive will not be responsible for prop selection due to the many variables that go into propeller applications. The customer must make the final decision. We, therefore, are pleased to announce our Return & Exchange Policy. If you wish to test another pitch or diameter, we will exchange the original for your test approval. This policy is not to be abused as a means of loaning out props. Naturally, Hydromotive Engineering Company can only accept propellers for return or exchange if in the ORIGINAL CONDITION with receipt and within a 30-day time period. After one or two exchanges have been made and you still are not satisfied, we will accept return of your propeller in the AS SHIPPED CONDITION for a refund, LESS A 10% RESTOCKING FEE, only with receipt within a 30 day time period. All shipping charges for returns and exchanges are to be paid SOLEY BY THE CUSTOMER. ALL RETURNS AND EXCHANGES MUST BE MADE WITHIN A PERIOD OF 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SHIPMENT, ACCOMPANIED BY YOUR ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT, AND RETURNED IN THE ORIGINAL CARTON. THERE WILL BE A $20.00 EXCHANGE FEE PER PROPELLER EXCHANGED. HYDROMOTIVE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ON PROPELLERS THAT HAVE BEEN MODIFIED, SHARPENED, THINNED OR BLUE PRINTED/ LAB FINISHED. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS! IF, FOR WHATEVER REASON, HYDROMOTIVE DECIDES TO ACCEPT RETURN OF PROPELLERS EXCEEDING 30 DAYS, THE FOLLOWING FEE SCHEDULE WILL APPLY: 31-60 DAYS WITH A 20% RESTOCK CHARGE, 61-90 DAYS WITH A 40% RESTOCK CHARGE, AND 91-120 DAYS WITH AN 80% RESTOCK CHARGE.

Limited Warranty

Effective January 1, 2002, warranty on all Hydromotive propellers purchased or replaced under warranty after January 1, 2002, will be one year from the date of purchase against defects in both materials and workmanship. We will replace or repair our propellers without charge for parts or labor. The limited warranty applies only to propellers that, upon our inspection, do not reveal obvious damage from service misuse, hitting submerged objects, tampering, etc. Simply send the propeller with the original sales receipt to Hydromotive Engineering Company. Applications with horsepower in excess of 575 cannot be warranted. Also, any propellers used for racing, poker runs, or in our judgment, performance equivalents to racing will not be warranted. Propellers modified, thinned, sharpened, up pitched or down pitched, reworked, or with nicked leading edges are not covered under warranty. The warranty applies only to the original owner with the original sales receipt. Freight to Hydromotive and back to the customer is the responsibility of the customer.

Drop Ship Policy

All drop shipments requested by our Original Equipment Manfacturers, Distributors, and Dealers will be subject to a $25.00 drop ship charge effective 6/01/2005.
